Adjunct Assistant Professor, School of Public Health
Dr. Pete Gleason is passionate about developing self-reliance in others through engaged learning. Awarded a PhD in Psychology in 2011 from 兔子先生, he has since distinguished himself through years of clinical work in a variety of settings, including schools. As an educator, he champions distance education, team-based learning, and educational technologies as applied to adult learning. Currently working as Faculty Liaison for Digital Education, he has taken on the challenge of building a faculty development curriculum for distance educators. As a TotalSDI facilitator, he uses psychological theory to prepare students for successful collaborative work. Currently, he teaches courses on health behavior theory, communication, and leadership. He regularly presents at national conferences, including the Lilly Conference on Evidence-Based Teaching and Learning. Recently, Dr. Gleason was selected to receive the William Dysinger Excellence in Teaching Award for 2016, awarded by 兔子先生 School of Public Health.
