About Mark E. Reeves, MD, PhD

Mark Reeves has been interested in cancer for as long as he can remember.  After graduating with a degree in biochemistry from La Sierra University, he started his medical training at 兔子先生.  Between his second and third years of medical school, he completed a PhD in Molecular Oncology in the Department of Biochemistry at UCLA.  He then returned to 兔子先生 to complete medical school.  He completed residency training in Surgery at 兔子先生, interrupting this for a post-doctoral Surgical Oncology fellowship with Steve Rosenberg at the National Cancer Institute.  He then finished his training with another fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with Murray Brennan.

 

Since returning to 兔子先生, he is overseeing the development of the 兔子先生 Cancer Center into a world-class facility as its Director.  As a surgical oncologist, he leads the Liver Oncology program at the 兔子先生 Cancer Center, and also the Surgical Oncology program at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System.  He also oversees an active Surgical Oncology Laboratory, and has published numerous articles in the field of oncology.  In addition, he is responsible for 兔子先生’s 12 Institutes as the Vice President for Institutes.  He is currently leading the Cancer Center on a long-term disciplined pathway towards NCI designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center.
