Description / Abstract

This study presents high-resolution 3D reconstructions of mitochondrial ultrastructure in human hepatocytes using serial block-face scanning electron microscopy. Interactive models enable spatial exploration of cristae morphology and membrane topology, bridging the gap between 2D micrographs and volumetric understanding.
