Delivery & Refund Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains how delivery and refunds work for paid purchases on AcademicAR: a single-model license upgrade (for example Academic or Extended Archive access) or an institutional contract payment. Publication workspaces on AcademicAR are always free; only per-model license upgrades and institutional contracts involve payment.
2. Digital Delivery
AcademicAR sells digital access, not physical goods, so there is no shipping, courier, or delivery address involved. "Delivery" means the purchased license is applied to your model automatically once payment is confirmed by our payment service provider, PayTR:
- Access starts immediately: the model's access window, storage limit, and public-viewer watermark status update as soon as the payment succeeds.
- You can confirm activation on the model's page in your dashboard, or by reloading its public viewer or QR link.
- If a payment is confirmed as successful but the license was not applied to your model because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will fix the license assignment or issue a full refund.
3. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
Under distance-selling regulations, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. That right does not apply once a service or digital content has been fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance begins. Because an AcademicAR license activates immediately at your request as soon as payment succeeds, completing checkout constitutes that consent, and the withdrawal right ends once the license has been applied.
This does not affect any refund you are entitled to under Section 4 below, or any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
4. When a Refund Applies
- Duplicate or erroneous charge: full refund of the duplicate amount.
- Payment captured but license not activated due to a platform error: full refund, or the license applied, whichever you prefer.
- Abandoned or failed checkout: if a payment attempt fails or is cancelled before PayTR confirms it as successful, you are not charged, so there is nothing to refund.
- Institutional contract payments: handled under the terms agreed with your institution's contract; contact your institution admin or contact us directly.
5. When a Refund Does Not Apply
Because access is granted instantly and the model's public viewer link, QR code, and AR access become usable right away, we do not offer refunds simply for a change of mind once the license window has been activated and used, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email info.yolmed@gmail.com with the affected model or publication, the approximate date of payment, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
7. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through PayTR. Once a refund is issued, your card issuer or bank typically reflects it within 5–10 business days, depending on the issuer.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date below reflects the current version. Continued use of AcademicAR after a change constitutes acceptance of the update.
